There's always a first time for everything. <3

There's nothing bad about basic tutorials. I just find it a bit lame because it doesn't explain anything.

Compare for example this one by aurora_amethyst, where she in each step explains what her goal is (make it brighter, lower contrast, etc etc) and how she does it:

This way one can easily tell what each step does, and I personally remember it better than just following instructions without comments.
