Round 1: Nostalgia

I'm very happy to see so many entries here in our first round already! <3 Thank you all!

Here's my own nostalgic entry! First, two icons of Joe Flanigan and David Hewlett, made from photographs (not mine) that were taken at Fedcon 2010, my one and only con experience. The others are of Dawson's Creek (Pacey and Joey) and Buffy (Buffy and Spike).

Do you want me to do a roundup post? I haven't thought that far ahead yet. I have now written a script to facilitate creating roundup posts, so I guess we're doing those. :)

LOL. :D I am going to stay firm on the no voting, though, because the format is too varied and the number of icons is completely different each round, I would have to code it by hand every time. (and just, no. :D)

A roundup would be nice. Although that post would be pretty big for this round...

I do roundups for icontalking every month, and that works well even with a lot of icons, so I'm thinking this shouldn't be a problem. I guess I'll make one, then. :D

OMG FEDCON! :D :D :D I only started going to Fedcon in 2013 (and now haven't been for a few years), so it's not like we could have met or anything, but it's still so fun that we both went there! :D

Also the last icon is so cool and creative! ♡

Aaah I meant to reply to your message, because I remember writing up some of my experience, so I went back in my journal and had to find out that all the embedded image links are broken (and I can't find them again, they're all gone, I have no idea where they are, and then I was frustrated and forgot to reply /o\ ).

Great work as ever! The composition and everything of #5 is amazing, and I love the lighting and background work in #3, plus it's a great crop in #4

Icon 5 looks super cool! And I love that pink-ish (?) coloring for the skin in icon 1 and 2, looks so nice and soft (´▽`ʃ♡ƪ)

Thank you! I'm happy you like the flat coloring! <3 I always think it makes icons look more retro. It definitely fit this challenge. :D

I went on a binge last month when I found a playlist of all of Pacey and Joey's scenes. :D I rewatched all of them again, omg. (Josh Jackson is still such a good actor!)
