Round #03 - calendarsquares - June 2017
Our third round is a color challenge! And - fitting with the theme at ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-community.gif)
calendarsquares - we'll have a roundup post in the form of a calendar!
This challenge was originally posted tocalendarsquares in May 2017 here .
If you yourself are a mod of an (old, closed) comm, and you'd like to allow us to revisit some of your challenges, let me know! I'm still in the process of PMing mods of older comms, but it'll take a while (and I have not received any answers from LJ mods at all so far). All the comms we currently have permission for are listed in the masterlist here.
If you are a maker and you want to revisit particular comms, let me know, and I'll contact those mods first.

June's Challenge of the Month is a color palette! Please use at least two of the colors prominently in your submissions.

ORIGINAL RULES - for reference only
■ You may submit up to four (4) icons maximum.
■ Icons must prominently feature the color of the month, both colors from a combo challenge, or at least two colors from a palette challenge. As long as your use of the colors is clear, anything goes.
■ All fandoms are welcomed from animation, comic books, musicians, movies, stock phography, to video games, anime, books, and anything else. Just be sure to use official artwork only (no fan art).
■ You may share your icons outside of this community whenever you wish. Even if they have not been revealed on the calendar yet.
■ If your birthday is this month, please be sure to include it in your submission! We'll be sure to give you a shoutout on your special day.
■ If you have any questions, please be sure to ask. I'm always happy to help.
NEW RETRO_ICONTEST RULES - mandatory
Consider the original challenge rules and try to stick to them in spirit.
This round, you must follow the color rule (bolded).
■ this month we'll fill a calendar, i.e. 30 days, since it's the month of June. i will not fill the calendar daily like cool_spectrum used to do, i'll only post the roundup post in calendar format this time - after the challenge has ended. if your birthday is in June, and you mention this in your post, one of your icons will be used for that day.
■ you may enter as many icons as you like. minimum 1 icon.
■ feel free to make more than 4 icons! the original limit of 4 icons per person means we'll need eight participants to fill the calendar. i'm not sure we'll have that many.
■ i'll fill up the calendar round-robin-style from all participants, and add leftover icons as alts to the end. everyone will be represented in the calendar, and if we should end up with more than 30 icons, that's not a problem! (i just hope we won't end up with less. i'm counting on you! <3)
■ submit your icons as a new entry into the community. if there are more than five, put the rest under a cut or a link to your unlocked journal post. tag your post with round number and your username (or ask me to tag it for you).
■ submit the URLs along with your icons. i'll only put the first five per person into the roundup post (unless we need more to fill the calendar, then i'll use more).
■ make an effort to leave positive feedback on other participants' posts. <3

The general plan is to go from mid-month to mid-month every month, so this round will run for five weeks! There is no voting. I will make a roundup post after every challenge - this time in the form of a calendar.
Deadline for round #03: Friday, June 16th 2023 (I decided to post all new challenges on Saturdays.)
